Using Communication to Facilitate Organizational Change
3 CREDITS | TERM 2
This course addresses the communication strategies that leaders can use to facilitate positive change in their organizations. The course reinforces the written and verbal communication skills introduced in earlier courses by applying them to common leadership situations such as the giving and receiving of performance feedback or the presentation of a strategic plan and research proposal. The course also introduces, through a collaboration with the USC School of Dramatic Arts, an examination of the physicality of effective communication such as non-verbal behaviors, tone and cadence.
