About USC Rossier
The USC Rossier School of Education, ranked #21 among graduate schools of education by U.S. News & World Report, is one of the world’s premier centers for graduate study in urban education. For more than 100 years, we have been preparing educational leaders to be change agents, providing them with the skills, knowledge and determination to create environments in which all students can learn.
The mission of the USC Rossier School of Education is to improve learning in urban education locally, nationally and globally. We do not define “urban” geographically, but rather through the characteristics of racial, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity, as well as the challenges of poverty, density, mobility and immigration that can be applied to all high-need educational environments. In doing so, we prepare the finest educators to succeed in any and all educational settings.
The school offers exceptional Master's programs both on campus and online, an online EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership for current and emerging leaders, an internationally recognized EdD in Educational Leadership geared for practitioners, a Global EdD for preparing international education leaders, and a rigorous PhD program in urban education policy. The school also offers professional development.
The USC Rossier School of Education is committed to the continuous improvement and professional success of our graduates. Our formal Commitment is that USC Rossier will provide all graduates with ongoing resources as they start and build their careers. Alumni facing professional challenges who reach out to USC Rossier will be assisted in creating a plan for improvement and guided toward a range of resources and interventions to support their success.
