Scholarships

Please find below a list of education-specific grants, fellowships and scholarships that USC Rossier students have used in the past. These options are not offered directly from the University of Southern California. We also encourage students to research other funding sources outside of this list.

This scholarship is awarded to graduate students in education.

This scholarship is awarded to female graduate students working on a master’s or doctoral degree or are enrolled in a post-doctoral study.

This scholarship is awarded to graduate- or undergraduate-level students enrolled in a full-time elementary or secondary education degree program.
Fellowship
$10,000 per year
This fellowship is awarded to individuals committed to teaching mathematics in public secondary schools in Berkeley, Boston, Los Angeles, New York City and Washington, D.C.
Scholarship
$500 to $4,000
This scholarship is awarded to both current and retired members of participating unions, their spouses and their dependent children. At least one year of continuous union membership is required by the applicant, applicant’s spouse or parent.
Fellowship
$24,000
This fellowship is awarded to individuals who desire to become teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level.

This fellowship is awarded to teachers who have worked for five years in math or science.

This scholarship is awarded to students and professionals with academic backgrounds in the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

This scholarship is awarded to full-time educators who have not received a scholarship or grant from AAE in the previous three grant cycles (or 18 months). AAE members receive additional weight in the scoring rubric.

Up to $5,000 per year
This scholarship is awarded to students from Maryland with a GPA above 2.0 and a family income below $90,000 a year, or below $66,000 a year for students pursuing career and technology training. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and planning to attend an accredited U.S. program in the upcoming academic year.
