Why did you choose USC Rossier?

I explored several different TESOL programs around the country but was impressed with USC Rossier School of Education’s reputation and country-wide ranking. Because it was in my backyard and offered an online option that allowed me various placement opportunities, both domestic and international, I pursued USC’s program.

What do you love most about teaching?

I love watching students gain the confidence that results from this language acquisition. Knowing that the words I speak and actions I take in the classroom can assist students’ development and help influence their overall communicative competence is indescribable. I revel in their successful language acquisition and in helping bridge the gap between their first language and their second language acquisition.

What is your most memorable moment in the program?

I shall always treasure my classmates and professors who have helped me in path to becoming a teacher. You will forever be on my shoulder whispering in my ear, assisting me in my future classroom.
